Oral History Day

Tuesday, July 30th, 1:00pm - 6:00 pm at the Denton Library

I want to hear your voices! To me, oral history is one of the foremost methods of creating public history. Our memories hold more than sentimental value, they are vital to understanding the circumstances of our past and to humanizing the study of history. That is why I am asking that anyone who has resided in Caroline County for over fifty years or has memories they feel would be valuable to share to sign up for my Oral History Day to be interviewed about their lives and experiences on the Shore. The interviews will take place during 45-minute time slots over the course of the afternoon of Tuesday, July 30th, 2024. If you would like to be interviewed or have a loved one you'd like to be involved, please click the button below and fill out the attendee form. This is a free event. There will be free refreshments provided. There will also be a space for companions who may be providing transportation to wait comfortably until their loved one completes their interview.
